1. What is the admission process at DPIS Bangalore?
A: Our admission process involves submitting an application form, attending an interview (for certain grades), and providing necessary documents. Please refer to our Admissions page for detailed information.
2. What are the school timings?
A: Our school timings are 8.45am to 3.15pm. However, if any changes on some special occasions, change in timings will be intimated accordingly to the parents.
3. Is transportation provided by the school?

4. What extracurricular activities are available for students?
A: We provide a diverse range of extracurricular activities including skating, football, arts, music, theatre, student clubs – TED, ECO club, Vedic Maths, Scouts & Guides, Literary Club, Taekwondo etc. Students can explore and participate based on their interests.
5. How can parents get involved in school activities?
A: Parents can get involved through volunteering opportunities, parent-teacher association (PTA) meetings, school events, and by staying connected with teachers and staff.
6. What is the school’s approach to student discipline?
A: We believe in fostering a positive and respectful learning environment. Our approach to discipline is based on promoting self-discipline, responsibility, and constructive communication.
7. How does the school support students with special needs?
A: We provide individualized support and accommodations for students with special needs to ensure they have equal access to education. Our dedicated support team works closely with students, parents, and teachers. We have separate Counseling Department that ensures special needs of them are met and addressed happily.
8. What are the safety measures in place at the school?
A: We prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff. Our campus is equipped with security personnel, CCTV surveillance, emergency protocols, and regular safety drills on Fire emergencies.
9. How does the school communicate with parents regarding student progress?
A: We maintain regular communication with parents through the school app, ‘ENTRAR’ newsletters, parent-teacher meetings, meetings with prior-appointments. Parents are encouraged to reach out to teachers or the administration for any concerns or queries.
10. Other than a PTM, when can a parent interact with the teacher?
A: DPIS considers parents as partners in the education process and parents are free to meet the chairperson, heads of academics, administration and teachers, with prior appointment, as and when necessary.
